Hi my name is David Threlfall
i have bee a musician for over forty years and began playing the piano at the age of twelve. at fourteen i started learning the guitar starting with simple songs infact the first song i ever played was she`ll be coming round the mountain when she comes ( well you`ve got to start some were) i cant remember the make of my first guitar but it was a big jumbo acoustic that my mother bought me from Rushworth and Drapers in Liverpool i cost £8.00. after my first year of playing i sold the guitar for £6.00 and bought a new electric guitar, a few years later i joined a band with some of my friends and played the local club circuit. i continued to play in various bands up untill the year 2000 the retired from playing in live bands and chose to go to collage. i did two years music tech at Hughbaird then went to croxteh comunity collage studying music theory. i have since leaving collage started to build my my own home studio where i do multitrack recording playing all the instruments myself as well as the vocals (see photos) i also play other instruments such as the fife, harmonica, lap steel guitar,ukulele, Mandolin,and at the moment trying to learn the violin.please look around my site and please sign my guest book.
